You Are What You Constantly Keep Doing
Your current life situation is purely the result of your own actions and the routine you live by.
1 year ago, I was a regular high school student who wanted to fit in with the ‘cool guys’, resulting in me drinking and smoking every weekend. I was scared not to go due to the fear of being left out. So that became a routine for me and you can guess where I was headed with this.

This is what most of my days looked like:
7:30 AM wake up and go to school until 3 PM
After school, I escaped reality by watching TikTok and YT
I’d eat some garbage and repeat until weekend
By now it’s pretty clear that the habits you have are what create your future. Whether it’s good or bad. But we are here to create the ‘good life’.
You are probably expecting a long bulleted list of actionable steps but this is not the case at all. I got rid of all my bad habits and didn’t watch 34 YT videos to do that.
How I did it:
The vision for my future outweighed the cheap pleasure I got from the degenerate lifestyle.
So basically, in August 2022 it clicked. I stumbled across an Iman Gadzhi video and it hooked me. I saw what was possible and I knew that with the lifestyle I had, I was never going to make it.
What I did?
It all started with a realization. I knew what was good and what was bad.
Firstly I quit drinking and cut off all my toxic friends. That 1 switch improved my life massively.
But I was still addicted to social media, porn, and junk food.
Guess what I did?
I asked myself: would Iman Gadzhi do these things? (Yes I was his fanboy for a long time)
So I thought no, Iman Gadzhi would not eat garbage and watch porn every single day.
Simply put, the desire to become successful was the driver of my actions.
I viewed myself as a successful man and always asked: would that super-successful person do that?
This all might sound super easy but that’s all I did. No like bs 20-minute habit hacks.
This way I got rid of all the bad habits and replaced them with good habits.
Fast forward to June 2023.
My natural state now is the same as a monk mode for a regular dude and I love it. I don’t feel restricted at all and I’m enjoying life to the fullest.
Conclusion: quitting bad habits is not that hard.
Create a vision for your future and whenever you do something, ask yourself: does this action/habit help me achieve my goal? (something related to that).
I hope this makes sense.
How my day looks likes now:
7 AM wake up (morning routine - meditate, cold shower, walk)
9 AM - 12 PM deep work ( email, scripts, recordings, client work)
1 PM GYM
3 PM inspiration - reading, podcasts, etc
Rest is free
Screens off at 9 PM, sleep at 10 PM
If you want to quit bad habits, the desire to change for the better must outweigh the cheap pleasure that the degenerate life offers.
